F.B. Purity lets you clean up and Customize Facebook. It hides all the Sponsored posts in the Facebook Newsfeed amongst many other useful features
Changes in F.B. Purity v36.4.12
- Fixed hiding Sponsored Posts
- Fixed Newsfeed filtering in general (including the Text Filter and Auto Hide filter and most of the built in Newsfeed filters such as the Reels filter for example.
- Fixed Bug in the “Hide whole right column” option, that was hiding comments on image posts
- Fixed the hide Meta Quest and Ray Ban Stories left column link options
- New Name Change Alerts function, will alert you when your facebook friends change their names. This option can be turned off on the FBP options screen.
If you are using Chrome (or chrome clone), Edge, Firefox or Opera and have the FBP extension installed already it should update itself to the latest version automatically. If you are using the GM Script version of FBP you may need to go to the script install page on install.fbpurity.com and click the install script link, then follow the on screen instructions to update the script.

i’m on F.B. Purity v36.4.12 bus still COMPLETELY FLOODED by so called “suggested posts” : (
as explained in the FBP FAQ page faq.fbpurity.com , if you dont have your facebook language setting set to English, you either need to set it to english, or else put the words for Suggested Post in your own language into fbp’s Text Filter or Auto Hide Filter

HOw do I use FBP to stop “Reels” on Facebook
fbp has a hide reels option (under video posts heading on the fbp options screen) if thats not working, try using the Text Filter. (put the word reels into the Text Filter box then click save and close)
