FB Purity v12.0 is out now. It cleans the crap that you don’t want to see, such as ads, games and spam off Facebook. It also gives you lots of cool customisation features such as changing the sites colours, fonts and background image.

FB Purity v12.0 has been released:

Changes Summary

• New: Hide “Auto Tag Suggestions” option (under “More Options” heading). Stops Facebook automatically suggesting tags while you are typeing. You can re-enable the tag suggestion option by typing an “@” symbol, which enables it for 20 seconds to allow you to tag only when you need to.
• New: Hide “Search Box Popup” option (under “Top Nav Bar Options” heading. N.B. This only works for people with Graph Search)
• New: Hide “Photos” link option, under “Hide left Column Links” options
• New: Hide “Create an Event” option, under “Hide Left Column Links” options heading
• New: Hide “Your Pages” option, (under “Hide Right Column Links” heading)
• New: Show More Friends in Chat option (Under “Chat options” heading) It squeezes more friends into the chat list.

FB Purity Cleans the Junk off Facebook – It hides all the ads and other stuff you don’t want to see and also lets you customise the look of the site.

• Fixed: “Hide Birthdays” in right hand column option
• Fixed: The “Expand News Column” option was hiding the third column on events, groups and fan pages. This should be fixed now.
• Fixed: “Show Full Date & Time on Posts” option for Firefox
• Fixed: Hide related/similar stories popup (when hide sponsored box option is ticked)
• Fixed: Hide “People You May Know” option
• Fixed: Hide “Wrote on Wall” option
• Fixed: “Hide Newsfeed” option (moved under the “More Options” heading on the options screen) now only hides the newsfeed, you can now still view friends and interest lists and individual posts
• Fixed: Photos in chat opened in a new window, if “Fix External Links” option was turned on.

• Updated: the Hide “Events” links in the “Hide Left Column Links” options, now also hides the new “Events” box that lists upcoming events in the left hand column
• Updated: The Hide “Gifts” option has been moved from the “More Options” section to the “Hide Left Column Links” sectionUpdate to the latest version of FB Purity by clicking the green “Install” button on the FB Purity Install Page
