- Added: hide “Order Food” left column link option (under the “Left column options” section of the FBP options screen)
- Added: hiding “Flash” to the hide “Games” option, (under the “Left column options” section of the FBP options screen)
- Fixed: the left column in Groups when the “Expand news column” option is turned on
- Fixed: left column links on Fan Pages were hard to read if a background image was set
- Added: “Recommended for you” and “Suggested because it’s popular on Facebook” posts to the hide sponsored box/stories filter
- Updated: The hide “Sponsored box/stories” option now also hides offer reminders links in the right column
- Fixed: FBP news notifications box. It was previously displaying news notifications when there was no new news, that is now fixed.
- Fixed: the album button in the status box wasn’t working
- Fixed: clearing the Facebook “Ad Prefs” (Interests and Advertisers) functionality
- Updated: Made the “turn off” coloured status option also turn off big fonts for short statuses, so you can now turn them on again if you like the coloured and big font statuses. (option is located under the “Font, Colour & Design” heading on the FBP options screen)
- Solution: Facebook has added another new annoyance, and one of FBP’s existing options can deal with it. If you visit any Facebook business Page that has messaging enabled, as soon as you visit their page a mini chat Tab pops up at the bottom of the page. You can turn this off, by turning on FBP’s “Full Screen Chat” option, which is located under the “Chat Options” heading on the FBP options screen.

Using Purity also hide not online friends, why?
fbp only does what you tell it to do, if its doing that, you must have ticked the option to hide offline friends…
I don’t understand the “auto-remove recent logins” option. Recently I’ve had to log in every time I wake up my computer. (Firefox on MacBook Pro) but this wasn’t happening until maybe a month ago. I’m not a high-end user, just a confused old lady.
I use firefox’s memory for passwords to log in almost everywhere. What will change if I accept the auto-remove thing? Thank you.
fbp has no effect on that. it just removes the list of people who have logged in recently on the login page
